A documentary by Sandra Ehrmann about a largely unknown topic of statelessness with a calm atmosphere and impressive imagery. What does it mean to be stateless in today's Germany and how can it come about that the system of citizenship simply does not register some people? The film accompanies the two stateless people Christiana and Alaa, who live in Munich and Essen, for a little while on their journey.
